Okay. So the Saturday Writing Prompt ended up being a Sunday "oops" I forgot to post it prompt...but anyway, you can always make up for it now. Perhaps, if you didn't miss it you are well on your way to writing anyway and didn't need the friendly Saturday push to pose pen over paper and produce.

Nice alliteration!

RED ARROWHere's a game for you...

Picture: Moonlight shining on the ocean - to one side, shadowed craggy bluffs, to the other the silhouette of a far off sail boat.

Letters:

A

T

Now write a paragraph or two using as many words as you can beginning with the letters "A" and "T" and keep your writing on the theme in the "picture" above. Try to use as many unique words as possible and make sense. Usually this game is timed - 2 minutes - but for the sake of this prompt, try to use 100 words or less.

Members - if you care to post your work as a comment, then we can compare. Include the word count - total and the "A" and "T" word count sub total. Good luck!

If you would like to try the timed version of this game...join us at the Writers Circle on Tuesday, November 3rd, 7:00 pm at the Strathcona County Library. It will be fun!
