SATURDAY WRITING PROMPT

It's November and almost Remembrance Day. This writing prompt has nothing to do with the usual topic of this day but focuses on memory recall. Questions about our childhood allow us to reflect and write about favorites things, favorite people, favorite events. Our experiences growing up differ from person to person and our memories can be happy, sad or indifferent. 

"What was your favorite toy as a child? Why was it important to you? Do you still have it? What toys did you hang onto from your childhood? Why are they important to keep?" 

If you choose not to go back into your memory, use the prompt to write about something  current - perhaps your child's favorite thing or something you purchased recently because it reminded you of something you might of once had.
