WFSC Annual General Meeting (AGM) 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Sign in and payment of fees due 6:45 pm - 7:00 pm
(set up - for current Board members 6:00 pm - 6:45 pm)
The WFSC - supporting writers ... any age, any stage of their writing career.
AGENDA OUTLINE to include:
President's Report - Last Year in Review
Reading of By-laws and vote/acceptance by membership for wording changes
Election of Board of Directors - President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer
Other positions: to be determined
Position of Library Liaison is held by Past-President (or high level board member)
Committees: Words in the Park, Conference Planning, Book Project
Projects: Writing Friends, Never Been Better, Web Site, Newsletter
If you have other business to be brought before the Board and the Membership, please contact Twilla Boyce, President to be included on the agenda. Due to limited time on the night of the meeting, no new business will be addressed. Issues brought forward then will be handled by the newly elected board at their October meeting.
*Please note: to meet minimum member in good standing status, members are required to have membership fees paid prior to (at a prior meeting or on line through the WFSC web site) or to the Treasurer before commencement of the meeting. *New members (enrolled 30 days or less prior to the AGM) are welcome to attend the meeting but will not have voting privileges. If you are interested in running for a position on the Board, please note - our organization mandate requires your participation on a committee or project under the direction of a current board member before standing for election.
