TERMS & CONDITIONS OF USE AGREEMENT
The following terms and conditions constitute the Terms & Conditions of Use Agreement (“Agreement”) and govern access and use of the web site belonging to the Writers Foundation of Strathcona County located in Sherwood Park, Alberta, (“WFSC”) at the registered domain names www.writersfoundationofstrathconacounty.com and www.wfscsherwoodpark.com including any and all pages (content) associated with the aforementioned web domains. The WFSC web site is provided for the benefit of a) the writing community and b) the community at large. Public pages (content) will display information about our association, partnerships and projects. No user password is required to use the site in this general, information sharing manner. The “Members Only” component of this web site offers a virtual meeting place for WFSC Members in good standing – part of the benefits of membership include access to the on line writers circle. Portions of the web site for “members only” and associated permissions are dependent upon the role the User holds within the WFSC organization. For details on becoming a Member, contact the WFSC using the “contact us” on line request form. This Agreement applies to all Users, whether or not they are, become, or have been a Member of the WFSC. Access, use and continued use implies acceptance of this Agreement. It is therefore advised: if you (the “User”) do not agree with the terms and conditions of this Agreement, discontinue use of this web site.

1.	Ownership. All content within this web site is the property of the WFSC and/or its associated members, partners, users and is protected by the copyright laws of Canada. No duplication, in whole or in part, is allowed without the expressed written permission from WFSC authorities, assigned agents, individuals or group members including by not limited to authors, artists, photographers, designers, etc.
2.	Limited license and Restrictions. The WFSC grants you, the User, limited, a personal use license for information contained herein for research purposes and is restricted to one time non-commercial use. The WFSC, however, cannot grant permission for its members’ published works and written permission is required from the individual member. For such requests, please fill out the “contact us” on line form and your request will be forwarded by our Web Site Coordinator to the appropriate member. The WFSC welcomes inquiries from interested parties regarding publishing and reprinting requests. 
3.	Trademarks. All logos and names used to promote the WFSC are property of the WFSC except where indicated, and are registered and protected under jurisdictional regulations and copyright laws. 
4.	Representation and Warranties.  As a user of this web site you are bound by the following considerations: 
a)	this Agreement is a legally binding agreement 
b)	use of this web site and its associated pages is in a manner consistent with the terms and conditions of this Agreement 
c)	the User will not impersonate any person or entity of the WFSC or offer misrepresentation, implied or otherwise
d)	the User agrees to use the site for its intended purposes and not for illegal, immoral or otherwise damaging behavior
e)	use of the site with intent expressed in (d) will not be condoned, tolerated or supported and will result in the immediate termination of user privileges granted
f)	materials posted by member Users must not be offensive, pornographic, or discriminatory in any way
g)	the WFSC promotes the writer’s voice but does not promote situations or opportunity for abuse.
      5.   Disclaimer of Warranties. You expressly agree, use of the WFSC web site is at your sole risk. The WFSC, nor its affiliates, directors or members make no guarantee that this  
site is free from inaccuracies, security breaches, omissions, or is current. The WFSC, will make every effort to the best of its ability, to provide an accurate, secure, complete and current representation of its membership by supplying timely information. Use of the content and references by the User, member and/or public, is done so at your own risk and liability; it is therefore the Users’ responsibility to ensure its accuracy.  
      6.   Limitation of Liabilities. You agree that the WFSC and its providers shall not be held liable for any damage, loss, or expense, whether caused direct or indirectly, of any kind 
associated with the use of this site. 
	7.   Indemnifications. You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless the WFSC, its officers and affiliates from and against any and all claims and expenses, including attorney’s fees, arising out of the use or related use of this site and its content. 
	8.   Privacy. The WFSC respects the rights of its Members and the public and therefore, will use, hold and treat your private information within the terms of the Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA). 	 9.  Links. The WFSC may offer links to sites associated with or of interest to the User and does so for convenience to the User. Use of a link implies acceptance of use governed by the terms and conditions or agreements or policies and procedures of that site and is in no way related to the Agreement of the WFSC. Use of an affiliated or advertised link is done so at your own risk. The WFSC will provide links to sites that reflect “content of interest” to our Users but is in no way responsible for use of provided links. 
	
The WFSC reserves the right to change, modify, delete or otherwise alter this Agreement and its terms and conditions of use. It is recommended that the User periodically review the content herein to confirm agreement and compliance for continued use. No communication will be made to Users, however, if there are conditions of importance and of affect to all Users, the WFSC may advise and post that information on the web site in a general forum. Content is not intended for use by children and although the WFSC promotes writing for all ages, it cannot assume responsibility or liability for minors using this web site.
