Owl of Victory
what does an owl symbolizes?
Magic, darkness
or is it Victory?
Owl will howl
Let's do this guys!
We've got this!
Owl will hail
Sleep tight tonight
Tomorrow we'll fight
Owl will hoot
Eat healthy and stay put
Move and write it out
It is the Owl of Victory
Face her fury and might
Defeat you're a mockery
Because it is the
Owl of Victory!
Owl of Victory
-
It was a face that came in the night,
Something that seemed to be out of dreams of old.
A face of feather and knowledge, behind such eyesight,
A whisper of the wing as it would fold.
It was there a moment, and then gone again,
A rustle of feather disappearing into a whisper of the wind.

Owl of Victory
O.W.L. – Out With Losing
A new Little League team motto
After a dismal last season, this year we’re cruising
National finals – we feel as if we won the lotto
Bottom of the ninth
Bases loaded
We’re behind
We need this run – expectations overloaded
I’m up to bat
Stare down the pitch
I swing and hear the crack
Thought the ball might split a stitch
The ball soars
The bases rounded
The crowd roars
Victory is sounded
The underdogs came through
Once we had started we couldn’t stop
Our prize – awarded to the crew
A trophy with an owl perched atop
