The Great Adventure

-

Who are you that wander along this trail?

With such a lost and lonely look behind your eyes,

It is hard to believe that this life-to-you hasn’t failed.

You drag your feet through these mark-ed trials

And still you’re more lost than you had ever began.

Look at me, with those eyes so full of mistrust and glare,

Who hurt you with such a harsh hand

To give you a reason for that stare?

Come, off that beaten path you wander so alone,

We cut a rug for hours

For our next date I showed with flowers

Three years of love

My heart soars like a dove

We meet at the altar

There is no way I could falter

She is a sight

All dressed in white

Vows before family and friends

A love that will never end

Another year joy

We welcome our baby boy

Together with my wife

We built a…
